Home For The Apocalypse
Attention non-actors, actors, and all humans everywhere!
Casting and Crew Call: Documentary “Home for the Apocalypse” (working title)
For years we have been told to get out more, to talk to each other, that we need to get off our tablets, phones, computers…that we need more human interaction, to touch, to feel, to explore the world like we used to.
Now, in the midst of the Covid-19 crisis, we are being told we can’t go out because lives could depend on it.
Our goal in this documentary is to explore how people from all walks of life are handling being instructed to stay at home and self-isolate.
Are you someone waiting to be tested and can’t leave your apartment? Are you choosing to stay home? Do you still have to go to work? Do you have kids? Are the walls closing in and you can barely breathe? Do you go out quietly at night and watch the stars and love the empty streets and finally feel alive? Are you panicked, or do you think this is all a lot of silliness and it’s going to all blow over soon? Is this a big deal for you or is it “no big thang?”
What’s your story?
This documentary will include contributions from people like you: videos, pictures, audio, music, art — what you’re doing to pass the time? Share with us what you think about all this, send footage of what you’re up to and how you’re dealing with being told to stay “Home for the Apocalypse“.
We want to show that we’re not alone, even though we’re isolated.
If you are interested in participating, please email us before Friday, March 27, 2020 at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will send you more information on the project.
Please share everywhere!
All the best,
